The new Forged TEC irons come in Cobra’s famous one length design which means each club has been meticulously thought out and made to the specifications of a 7 iron, in both length and weight. This helps to give a consistent set of clubs that give you an almost identical feeling at set up and when you swing the club. This helps a number of golfers that struggle with certain irons in their set or who just prefer the feeling of a set that is consistent throughout.

The irons are the new generation of one of Cobra’s most popular irons. These irons have been built to be an incredibly balanced set of clubs that offer power, pinpoint accuracy, great feel and forgiveness. A muscle back design and thin top makes them look sleek, and to the requests of tour players who often ask for a slim profile. The heads have been made with foam microspheres inside which make the clubs sound wonderful as well as giving them the soft feel you would associate with a muscle back.

Forged Tec play host to a number of features that allow the clubs to be as good as Cobra need them to be. PWRSHELL technology helps the club faces to be thin and they also have an insert to make the sweet spot larger. A larger sweet spot gets a higher launch and blistering ball speeds which is also aided by the thin face. The CG has been shifted deeper in the head due to the hollow body structure and this makes the club more forgiving and adds more speed to the ball.

The Tungsten weight that is placed in the toe is another way Cobra have managed to manipulate the CG. The lowered CG has been moved behind the middle of the face to add more distance from all across the face, closing the gap in flight and yardage of shots that do not hit the middle of the face to make your iron shots more consistent. Cobra Connect is an added feature with these clubs, this allows you to track your round with the app so you can get detailed information about your game and analyse it after you finish to help you improve your game.
