The all-new PXG 0311 XP steel shafted iron set is here and looking and performing like never before. This mean looking iron is backed up by PXG’s industry leading engineering and comes with outstanding performance and ridiculous forgiveness. This new iron set comes complete with new patented core material, breakthrough head design and expert weight technology to give more than a just a makeover. With a significant amount of offset, these irons have been designed, engineered and built to give off-centre forgiveness like no other. The benchmark for all other game-improvement irons are right here. These are made for any level of golfer who seeks maximum forgiveness allied with a confidence-inspiring head shape.

Each and every iron is 5 times forged from 8620 soft carbon steel, a tight grain is then achieved for strength and to significantly prolong the lifespan of the grooves. The appearance and feel is also very noticeable. The irons come in a choice of two finishes, a lovely premium chrome or a new xtreme dark option. This diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating creates a hard, graphite-like carbon based coating that significantly extends the lifespan of the club. DLC is a premium three-layer process which includes a chromium base, carbon-chrome midlayer and high carbon top layer. This ultimate wear-resistance and gorgeous look will most certainly be appreciated across the board.

Precision weighting technology means that the one heavyweight located in the rear of the clubhead allows golfers to fully experiment with numerous head configurations during a personal fitting. XCOR2 technology is many years in the making, resulting in extreme face deflection and monumental ball speeds. This polymer core material is designed specifically for the new Gen5 irons, extremely lightweight to reduce the mass of the core. Weight is positioned low and to the perimeter of the backside of the club, dramatically increasing the moment of inertia and forgiveness. When the ultra-thin face technology is factored in, you get an outstanding club that is hard to beat.

Gen5 irons undergo a precise robotic polishing process, this creates an extremely tight manufacturing process that gives consistent sole and face perimeter geometry. Robotic laser welding reduced the heat affected zone and gives a high strength and exacting attachment method.

Just behind the face is a U-shaped corridor that is built into the internal surface of the face. This power channel technology increases deflection and bend in the top section of the face. The sound is exquisite as you would expect from PXG, nothing quite sounds like a PXG iron, rewarding and unique.
