The PXG 0811XT Driver is the sleekest of all the 0811 driver range, the Tour-inspired tear drop head shape is engineered with aerodynamics in mind to give blistering swing speeds that send the ball miles. Killer looks and killer performance to match, the XT ticks all the boxes. The XT is aimed at the better/lower handicap player, the ”T” stands for Tour. The PXG 0811XT Driver displays a shallow face with a more parallel crown and sole design to vastly increase ball speed. Aerodynamics were at the top of the agenda with this stunning XT Driver, the distinctive face design reduces drag forces, especially beneficial for players with swing speeds in excess of 105mph to increase ball speed.

The companies’ high-precision robotic polishing provides exact tolerances specifications of the face thickness and face curvature, this exact polishing procedure allows corrective spin from the face for ideal ball flight on those shots that are struck away from the centre of the face. The high-speed face is made from a premium Ti412 titanium alloy, this material provides exceptionally high yield strength together with low elastic modulus. Face deflection and spring from the Ti412 titanium alloy provides ultra-fast ball speeds. Aluminium Vapor Technology (AV) is conducted in a vacuum-sealed chamber to massively increase stability of the carbon fibre.

As with the PXG 0811X and 0811XF, the XT once again greatly benefits from three weight ports on the sole to give head weight adjustability and to fine-tune flight, spin and bias. Additional weights can be purchased separately. The hosel is again adjustable to give the preferred loft and trajectory required, maybe wind conditions will force a loft change to a lower setting. The three settings are 7.5º, 9º and 10.5º.
